This is a Part Time position, up to 16 hours per week, various days. SPANISH SPEAKERS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.

Position Responsibilities: Work one to one with an individual, usually 10 to 16 years of age with emotional and behavioral challenges. Focus on the developmental stage of the child and age appropriate developmental tasks.  Design and provide activities that assist children in developing skills for performing age appropriate tasks needed to live successfully in their homes and communities.

Education and/or Experience Required at Entry: H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. with one (1) year relevant experience. Have training in skill areas needed by the child. Have training in normal growth and development of children, including developmental tasks associated with various stages of childhood and adolescence.

Licenses/Certificate/Clearances: Valid N.Y.S. Drivers License, registered and insured vehicle, N.Y.S. Child Abuse Registry clearance, Fingerprinting for Criminal History.

Skills/Abilities:. Oral and written communication skills.
