25th Annual House of Providence Dinner |

Presented by JW Burns & Company For over 80 years, For over 80 years, Catholic Charities of Onondaga County has been a light shining through, helping local families and children when they need it most. As a leading provider of services for the most vulnerable members of our community, we are a trusted friend to those in need. From adoption assistance to services for the elderly, our continuum of services touches all ages and stages of life. We operate shelters for the homeless, serve meals to the hungry, and offer a vast array of programs and support services for children and their families. Proceeds from the annual House of Providence dinner will be used wherever need is greatest. The Event The Awards The President’s Medallion honors individuals who, through their voluntary contributions, have immeasurably enhanced Catholic Charities of Onondaga County and the community. These individuals exhibit a devotion to the betterment of the human condition, and a concern for others, as well as vision and leadership in their contributions. Elizabeth Hartnett will receive the President’s Medallion. The Bishop’s Medallion honors individuals who, through their care are devoted to actively serving people of the Diocese. Through their vocation and voluntary pursuits, they have lived as a model of service to others. This award stands as a testimony to their devotion and commitment to others. The Bishop’s Medallion will be bestowed upon Father Fred Mannara. The Humanitarian Service Medallion honors individuals who have the consistent desire to improve the human condition through a life of service to others, both personally and professionally. Their spirit of concern for others coupled with their substantial and long-standing commitment to meeting human service needs is recognized with this award. The Humanitarian Service Medallion honors Joseph Tesori.
