Fresh Food Distribution

What: Our Emergency Services team and staff volunteers host the Fresh Food Distribution event. Community members will have access to nutritious foods, including grains, vegetables, fruits, dairy, and protein items thanks to our partnership with Food Bank of Central New York.

When: Wednesday, March 27

  • Doors open: 1:00 PM
  • Check-in starts: 2:00 PM
  • Distribution time: 3:00 – 4:00 PM
  • Parking is available on the street and in parking lot.
  • Masks are recommended.
  • Please use the main (security) entrance.

Where: House of Providence – 1654 W. Onondaga St., Syracuse, NY 13204.

Community Resiliency Model Workshop

What: A free, online workshop offered by our Clinical Services team that is designed to help people of all ages learn to track their own nervous systems in order to bring the body, mind, and spirit back into balance. Our mental health professionals will guide participants through wellness skills that are easy to learn over the course of 4 parts. The Community Resilience Model was developed by the Trauma Resource Institute.

When: This is a 4-part workshop.

  • March 5, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • March 12, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • March 19, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • March 26, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Pre-registration required by February 16.
