Program Description
Provides a variety of parenting classes for pregnant/parenting women, partners and families. Lullaby League is a 4-week infant care course for pregnant women and their partners. It provides layettes to participants who complete the course. An 8-week specialized parenting education course is offered to parenting women and partners with infants and toddlers. Two-week specialized “refresher” parenting sessions are offered to primary caregivers who are grandparents. Information and referral. Outcomes
include parents demonstrate an increase in knowledge and skill in newborn care and development, and parents/grandparents demonstrate an increase in knowledge and skills in early childhood (up to four years
of age) care and development.
Eligibility
Pregnant women, partners and families living in Onondaga County.
