Senior Meal & Nutrition Program

 
   

Program Description
Provides hot nutritious lunches and socialization. Many meal sites have additional programs.

Support Services Provided
Neighborhood Advisors visit many of the sites to provide information and activities and periodic educational presentations are provided.

Eligibility
Individuals 60 years or older, spouse of an eligible individual, a disabled person residing in an apartment house that serves meals, or a volunteer under 60 years of age.

Payment
$2.50 contribution requested

Location and Referral process

Breakfast is served at the Ida Benderson Center on the last Saturday of the month. 

Lunch is provided at Bob Cecile Community Center, Clinton Plaza Apartments, Emmanual Episcopal Church, Ida Benderson Senior Center, Limestone Community Center, Liverpool Methodist Church, Norstar Apartments, Northside CYO Center, Onondaga Senior Center, Providence House Paratments, Villa Scalabrini, Salina Civic Center, Salina Town Hall and Fay Road Baptist Church.

Individuals need to sign up in advance by calling the preferred meal site. Call Sue Fernandez at
