Emergency Services

Direct assistance is available for people in dire need, especially those struggling to find food, clothing, and housing.

  • Location: 264 E. Onondaga St., Syracuse.
  • No fee.
  • Eligibility: Limited to residents of Onondaga County with demonstrated need. There are limits on income and the number of times persons may be served.
  • Information: Please call Mary Varik or Mary Jane Wood at 315-475-3807. Please be prepared to leave a message. Someone will call you back as soon as possible.
  • Good to know: Some forms of assistance have specific restrictions. Catholic Charities may be able to connect people with other resources.
