Pre-School Programs

Offered to children who must be 4 years old by December 1st of the school year at 4 locations. Morning and afternoon pre-school programs prepare children for the challenges of kindergarten. The programs emphasize growth in the areas of social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Children participate in free play, reading, arts and crafts, dramatic play, and exercise.

  • Locations: North McBride Street, Hawley Avenue, Seymour Street, Edmund Avenue.
  • No fee.
  • Eligibility: Children are not required to live in the neighborhood, but must be residents of the City of Syracuse.

  • Good to know: Classes fill up early and there is often a waiting list; register early.
