Resettlement Services

Resettlement services and support for those forced to leave their countries due to unsafe conditions. The program provides assistance with applying for jobs and registering for English language classes, locating translators, finding housing, and securing medical care. Special academic programs prepare refugee children to attend school.

  • Location: 527 N. Salina St., Syracuse.
  • Fees: Not applicable.
  • Eligibility: Limited to individuals and families resettled in the area by Catholic Charities of Onondaga County.

  • Good to know: Catholic Charities partners with Onondaga County, the city of Syracuse, the Syracuse City School District and numerous other agencies and organizations to ensure a cooperative, collaborative approach to resettlement activities.
