Summer Meal Program At Catholic Charities

 
   

Kids get free summer meals. What a great deal!

The Summer Food Service Program(SFSP) was established to ensure that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals .  Free meals, that meet federal nutrition guidelines, are provided to all children at approved SFSP sites in areas with significant concentrations of low-income children

The US Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service(FNS) administers
SFSP at the national level.

Catholic Charities sponsors meal sites during July and August at the following locations:

  • Bishop Foery
  • Faith Hope Community Center
  • First English Lutheran,
  • Hawley Youth Organization
  • Northside CYO
  • Northside Police
  • PEACE, E. Fayette
  • PEACE, South Beech Street
  • PEACE  Northside
  • PEACE Westside
  • Parkside Commons
  • St. John Evangelist
  • Vincent House
  • Westcott Center
