 Catholic Charities of Onondaga County is proud to announce our 2022 Class of Honorees for the 37th House of Providence Awards. Monsignor Charles Fahey, Le Moyne Loyola Jesuit Community, will be honored with our Bishop’s Award. Ann Rooney, Deputy County Executive of Human Services for Onondaga County, will be honored with our President’s Award. Lastly, but certainly not least, Jaime Alicea, Superintendent of the Syracuse City School District, will be honored with our Humanitarian Service Award. Congratulations to our wonderful honorees for being recognized for their exceptional leadership and service to the agency and our Central New York community.

The funds raised by the event support our programs which serve nearly 19,000 individuals in our community regardless of their religion, race, gender, ethnicity, or nationality. Program services include our homeless shelter, food pantries, services for the elderly, development and educational services, and refugee resettlement.
