Thank you to all our supporters who attended our Salt City Shaker on October 24th! A wonderful group of individuals gathered at the CNY Community Foundation and Philanthropy Center Ballroom to learn about Catholic Charities’ programs and services and to celebrate Dr. Juhanna Rogers, our Mover & Shaker of 2019. We were thrilled to honor Juhanna, who shared in her acceptance speech the importance of collaboration between companies, organizations, and individuals to continue to help our community grow and succeed. Congratulations, Juhanna, and thank you for all your work in and for our community!
At the event, we were pleased to announce that returning this year was a matching gift challenge from an anonymous donor who pledged $1,500 if guests at the event could raise $1,500 in the room during the event. Thanks to our guests, we not only met, but exceeded this matching gift challenges! That’s an additional $3,000+ for our programs reducing poverty in Syracuse. We can’t express our gratitude enough to our supporters!
