How?
An anonymous donor has agreed to give $1,500 in support of this event if we are able to reach our goal of 150 reservations! That means that when you purchase a ticket for the Salt City Shaker, you’re helping secure $10 more of support!
Getting your tickets means you’re helping us provide job training for local people, pre-k classes for kids in underserved neighborhoods, shelter and meals for the homeless, English and citizenship classes for refugees, support for the elderly and much more! At the event, you’ll be able to sample food prepared by our culinary programs which help refugees and people born into poverty gain skills to work in the culinary industry.Â
The Salt City Shaker will be held on October 18, 2018 from 5:30pm – 7:30pm at the CNY Community Foundation (431 East Fayette Street). We’re excited to present the Mover and Shaker Award to Maria Maldonado-Lewis, Constituent Services Advocate for the City of Syracuse Mayor’s Office.
All proceeds of the Salt City Shaker benefit programs at Catholic Charities of Onondaga County.
