Catholic Charities Champions

When you become a recurring donor, you join a special circle of donors whose consistent commitment provides steady support for our programs. Recurring donors are our Champions whose support helps to fund our work in eliminating poverty in Onondaga County.

How to Join

You can join easily online. Using the link above, choose “Recurring Donation” then select your gift amount and frequency. You can designate your gift to a specific program, and make your gift in honor or memory of a loved one.

If you’d prefer, you can mail a check and let us know you’ll be making a recurring gift.

Champion Benefits

Sustaining donors who commit to becoming a Catholic Charities Champion receive a Catholic Charities branded pen and notebook and official certificate acknowledging your commitment to being a Champion as a welcome and thank you. 

Donor Levels

The Catholic Charities Champions Monthly Giving Program has four donor levels:

  • Faithful Friends – $10/month
  • Stability Provider – $25/month
  • Capacity Builder – $50/month
  • Compassionate Guardian – $100/month

Recurring Giving FAQs

How will my recurring gift be used? 

You can designate your gift to our unrestricted fund, so we can use your gift where it is needed most, or you can designate your gift to a specific program.

What are the different frequencies available?

You can choose to set up your recurring gift as weekly, monthly, every two weeks, every four weeks or quarterly. 

Is there a minimum gift to become a Catholic Charities Champion?

There is a $10 minimum through our online giving platform, but if you’d like to commit a lower amount, you may send a check. Your commitment, no matter the amount, lets us count on your consistent support throughout the year. 

Am I able to cancel?

We appreciate your commitment to becoming a Catholic Charities Champion, but if you have to discontinue your recurring gift, or change the frequency or amount, you can do that anytime by contacting us at the information below.
