Program Overview

Contact Information: please call 315-558-4387or email SSVF@ccoc.us.

SSVF (Supportive Services for Veteran Families) is a program that can provide supportive services to very low income Veterans and their families who are homeless or who are in danger of losing their homes. We can provide eligible Veteran families with outreach, case management, and assistance obtaining VA and other benefits.

Eligible participants are individuals who have served at least one day of active military duty, with very low income, that are in danger of losing their homes, or who have already become homeless AND/OR members of the veteran’s household.

The SSVF program is funded by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and administered by Catholic Charities of Onondaga County, with services provided by Catholic Charities and the Salvation Army.

We look forward to working with you, and thank you for your service to our country.
